This is a great 1/2 in theme ratchet. I have a good 1/2 inch set of effect sockets plus a good effect gun.this 1/2 ratchet was a good way to get more milage out of my existing effect sockets, particularly the smaller sockets.a few things about this ratchet at 90lbs of torque Chicago CP7830HQ about as muscular as you can get for something in this size its long so you can reach pretty deep the boss is plastic covered so if you’re a restorer this ratchet won’t bang abrasively into anything this ratchet is pretty quite as theme tools go.as a con the boss of this ratchet is not small plus is pretty typical for a 1/2 ratchet. But this makes me sometimes wish i had a 3/8 effect socket set plus a 3/8 ratchet. So if you do a lot of precision work with the smaller sockets plus are looking for an theme tool, make sure this 1/2 ratchet will get in everywhere you need to.of note, chicago pneumatic is not a us company anymore – i think someone outside the us bought them.
